Created with love and integrity for healing, calling in the spirits, or for your own ceremonies and rituals, these wonderful rattles are fashioned out of rawhide, with a bone or wood handle and embellished with various items that may include feathers, hair, bones, and beads. These lovingly crafted 8-sided drums are made with a cedar frame covered by deer or elk rawhide. They are decorated with beads, feather or bone, and can be painted or plain. The drum sizes are 14 inches (35 cm.) and up in diameter. The 8 sides represent the 4 directions, the four elements and spider medicine--the symbol for the infinite qualities of creation. These very beautiful arrows are made of willow and a variety of other materials, such as leather, silk, threads, bones, and shells. Each prayer arrow carries a written prayer next to the willow, covered by another material. This arrow carries your prayer and intention to the source of your being.
