June 2007
1) My health continues to improve and I'm feeling pretty functional now. 2) During my few years away from core shamanic practice and healing due to health reasons, I found the spiritual community and shamanic tools of the Way of the Heart to be so beneficial - that is where I am putting my spiritual focus now. If you are interested in that , please email me and tell me where you live and I will make sure you are put on the appropriate email update list to find out about workshops and gatherings. I am now offering one-one healings in the Way of the Heart modality. If you are in Calgary, or could come to Calgary, contact me at 1-403-969-1176 about that. And just new in Kamloops - Sacred Rites. 4) My sojourn away from shamanic practice and healing also took me to the very practical and healing work of landscape design, installation and to a current passion - restoring the micro-organisms in the soil through Actively Aerated Compost Tea. I'm starting my summer spraying at the end of June. See http://www.soulrestore.com/events/Landscaping. 5) I have spent the winter working on another passion - writing a web-site for a campaign to have a bylaw passed in Calgary that will phase out unnecessary pesticide use. The web-site has a wealth of information for anyone living anywhere on why it's best to avoid pesticides and more importantly - on how to use natural landscaping methods and practices instead. And my intention was to make the campaign and web-site inviting and positive. Check it out at www.healthycalgary.ca. The web-site is copyrighted under a Creative Commons Licence so it can be copied if you would find parts of it useful for your community. And if you are a Calgarian, please go to http://www.healthycalgary.ca/Page-100.html and Contact the Aldermen for Calgary to urge them to support a pesticide bylaw! Most of the Aldermen have said they need to hear from the public to know it's supported before they'll commit to supporting it. 6) I sense I will be doing earth/self healing types of events in the future. Stay tuned if this draws you. The earth so needs us now to care for life in physical ways and also just to love the beauty of the world as it is now. October 2005 I am still referring people to others for shamanic healing and am not yet doing workshops and leading events again. I am starting to write and look forward to sharing more via email and this web-site. I started a landscape design and installation service last summer. In the last two years of my healing process, I've been doing lots of this work for friends and family. I am working with the earth and plants in a new way and I love it.

January 2003I am not doing Shamanic healings. For now, I am referring all distant healing clients to Linda McKay at lnmckay@telus.net, tel: 403-247-2096. Linda has studied with me and does great work - she recently did some wonderful healing work for me. For healers who may be in your area, see the Soul Healing Shamanic Network. I have been called to write more about what I know about living shamanically in the modern world. For now, I will be sharing these articles with my emaillist so sign up if you want to benefit from my lifetime of pondering on the question of how to live as a responsible, soulful, planetary citizen.
July 2001The Shamanic Healers Vision Quest Retreat - Level 2 Training August 11-17, 2001 is cancelled for this year. I've needed to take a break to attend to some personal healing. I've moved the Shamanic Healing Training to the end of August to give me this break. I'll be giving a talk on Shamanic Healing at the Power of Thought conference in Olds July 27 - 29th. This is a great conference for learning and camaradrie and has lots of men attending as it's a Dowsing group. It's very reasonably priced and chock full of workshops on how to do healing yourself. I'll also be doing a Basic Shamanic Practice workshop the Monday July 30th after the conference. I have launched my line of Soul Healing Drops and Sprays and my CD on Shamanic Healing but am not marketing them strongly until the Fall. In the Fall, I'll be travelling and giving talks and selling the Soul Healing Drops and Sprays and my CD at: Come down to sample the merchandise and say hello!! In Edmonton, I'll also be doing a Drumming Full Moon Ceremony Tuesday October 2nd and a Talk on Shamanic Practice and Healing Tuesday October 9th. Both of these events will be at Ascendant Books, 10310 - 124 Street. Call 452-5372 to register. February 2001The Shamanic Healers Vision Quest Retreat - Level 2 Training August 11-17, 2001 near Golden, B.C. A Vision Quest and learning and sharing retreat for shamanic healers. This will be the first time I've done this and I'm excited about the possibility of working again with the fine people who have trained with me as healers and with other wonderful healers. Certain to be a memorable event! It seems I will be offering the Vision Quest Retreat (not particularly for healers) on an as requested basis in the future and am willing to travel to offer that. I'll be at the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary March 16 - 18 launching my new CD on Shamanic Care of the Soul, my smudge sprays and I hope, my healing essences. Come down to sample the merchandise and say hello!! I'll also be giving a workshop, Shamanic Care of the Soul, Sunday March 18, 11 AM to 1 PM at the Expo, as well as half-hour lectures on Shamanic Healing, Saturday March 17th at 8:30 PM and Sunday March 18th at 4 PM. I'm also being called to spend time developing audio-tapes, books, and other spiritual products so will be doing less work publicly. And if you're interested in workshops, call me as I may be doing things I just haven't advertised. I'm encouraging people to come to Soul Healing Weekends rather than one-to-one healing sessions. These weekends are a very effective way to receive lasting healing and learn skills you can use lifelong for your own healing and guidance.
